Street Ninja ememy WIP

Last night I decided to make a character the old way with absolutely no zBrush for some practice. Man I forgot how tedious that can be. Anyway main body for one of the "bobo" type enemies I knocked out last night. When maya crashed during UV work I called it a night.

Unity asset pack

I've never made anything for the Unity asset store so I was going to try getting four versions on one texture sheet to lower draw calls for secondary or tertiary characters on screen. Basically all the same dude with armour changes.

Samurai Mage wip

Trying to find the right balance for armour, I think it should be more humble since he is a mage/ monk warrior.


Quick Concepts

some quick concepts I did for mobile game that was cancelled after 2 days to make a match three game instead. I had just started to play with retopping one of them for animations when the project was dropped.

Minis

working on some goatman concepts and forms for a tabletop game. I'm not sure I can post anything until the game release other than rough works and concepts but I like the head I came up with a little while ago, hopefully I will get to take it further.

Time off

I have taken some time off work to build a new portfolio and try one more time to get a job in the industry... it's been over 2 years since I graduated and my wife is pushing for me to call it quits on the whole videogame thing and just accept that I wasted my money and time going back to school.

I started blocking out some simple characters to get back in the groove before I make some higher end things I've got planned out.


Found an old character

Found an old character for a snowboarding app that didn't get made... it would have been nice to see that game finished. Model, normals, rig by me...I'm pretty sure my friend Demi did the textures because her name is on the bottom of the snowboard.

Just some quick experiments

I was playing around with quick ways to make UI elements in 3d rather than creating them in PS or illustrator. Nothing special, results may vary but I think I stumbled on some cool techniques for future use.
